Cape Swim has been fantastic for our daughter! As a child I hated swimming lessons, the smell, the fear, the head held underwater. At Cape Swim the classes are small and intimate with individual care being taken to cater for a child’s specific needs. Nicola, our swimming coach, has been absolutely sublime! Ensuring dynamic, enjoyable, flexible and practical lessons for our daughter. Damn fine place!
All three of my children have had swimming lessons at Cape Swim. I have found it to be a positive experience, and my children benefited immensely. The teachers are patient and make the lessons fun, and the school is very proactive and organized in their dealing with parents. I would recommend this as a swimming school.
Luke (6 years old) began swimming with the team at Cape Swim School in January 2020. It had been amazing to see the change in his confidence with strokes and in the pool in general. Thanks for all you do with our kids.

Both of my sons (age 7 and 2) thoroughly enjoy swimming at Cape Swim. The teachers are excellent and the techniques used to teach are fun and engaging. It’s been wonderful to see the boys’ love of water grow because of their swimming lessons and to watch their progress from basic water safety to stroke correction. Carol also runs the school really smoothly from an administrative point of view which makes booking lessons, payments etc very easy which is great.
Both of my kids have learnt how to swim with the very experienced, passionate and loving instructors at Cape Swim. While the one is gliding through the water like a pro and the other just kind of floats, they both love the water and feel very confident thanks to Carol and her team. I would recommend Cape Swim to any parent who wants their kids to gain confidence and proficiency in the water. They're also very accommodating and make sure your child is teamed up with similar skilled swimmers in the group classes, as well as instructors who they respond to best. Benji’s swimming and confidence in the pool has improved so much since starting at Cape Swim with Andrea. So much love and care has gone into putting him in the perfect group to ensure he carries on improving. Emi has started too and absolutely loves it!
My three year old son started swimming lessons with Nicola at the end of 2019. Within a handful of lessons he was confident in the water and started swimming towards the teacher by himself. Nicola is an amazing and patient teacher and my son loves having her as his teacher. Swimming is the highlight of his week.
I recommend swimming lessons at Cape Swim. There is a good balance of discipline and fun in the pool - a little more discipline than fun, which I like. Carol always tries her best to accommodate if a lesson is missed and needs to be made up. The pool is clean and warm, there are always goggles available and a lovely selection of pool toys and equipment to keep the children engaged. Each teacher that has worked with Oli has managed to zone in exactly to his level, needs and personality.
Our Kids have been swimming with Jenni at Cape Swim for the past 18 months - they are confident in the water and look forward to their lessons. Jenni understands how to make swimming fun and relevant for various ages.
Both my 1 and 3 year old little girls have been at Cape Swim for the past few months and it has come to be a big highlight in our little lives. My eldest wouldn’t go near the water and Nicola our loving teacher kept calm and assured me she would eventually get used to it. After a few sessions she had my older one’s 100% trust and it’s been unbelievable to watch her flourish and learn to swim. Between myself, my husband and my mom there have been a few lumps in our throats watching her love for swimming and her teacher grow. My one year old squeals with delight and just loves her fun water time with Jenni. It’s such a different experience as a mom as I get to be in the pool with her having quality time too. The center is convenient, well run, clean and all in all a very happy place to be. Recommend highly!
Hamza’s confidence in the water has grown outstandingly. He started at Cape Swim when he was two years old. Owner Carol maintains a high standard with great flexibility in catering for each child’s needs. My husband was in the pool with their swimming teacher, Jenni in their one on one class. This not only kept Hamza happy but also allows them to spend some quality time together. Seeing the benefits of my older son swim at Cape Swim, I decided to start lessons with my 7 month old Uthmaan in baby classes. From day one he loved it especially because the water is so warm and clean. I highly would recommend Cape Swim school. Their classes are fantastic and they always so accommodating.
My daughter started group swimming lessons at age 1. She loves her weekly classes and loves being in the water. Her confidence has grown in leaps and bounds. Cape Swim employs very competent, fun and engaging teachers.
Our daughter joined Cape Swim in September 2019, and had some private lessons and group lessons. She absolutely loves both her teachers, Nicola and Andrea, and came on in leaps and bounds in a short period. The facilities are also fantastic, clean and warm. We are very happy with Cape Swim.
Both our boys have been attending Cape Swim since it started. They absolutely LOVE their swimming lessons and all the teachers we have had have been highly effective in teaching our kids to swim confidently and very happily. I would highly recommend Cape swim to friends.
Carol, Fritha and the rest of the teachers have been absolutely amazing. We have seen our daughter grow from class to class and she has developed so much love for swimming now. The method of teaching through song and play has given her a lot of confidence. Thank you! And keep it up.
My son Liam really enjoys swimming at Cape Swim. As parents we are very happy with his progress and Cape Swim have lovely, good teachers. I saw changes in Liam in his third week of swimming. He can't wait for swimming lessons!
Andrea has been the most exceptional swimming teacher for our son, Italo. He was a nervous beginner and he came to love his group lessons, would sing his songs in the bath and looked forward to his swimming routine every week. We are very happy with Cape Swim and Carol is great with her communication and always tries to accommodate her swimming families. We highly recommend Cape Swim.
Mila is always eager to get to her swim classes, she loves all the water toys, songs and splashing around with Fritha - who was so great with the little ones.
Cape Swim has been fantastic in helping my two-year-old son feel confident and happy in the water. Carol is friendly and professional, while our swimming instructor Jenni is great with kids and my child is delighted to jump into the pool with her every week.
I'm so grateful to the swimming teachers at Cape Swim for teaching both my children to swim. They are brilliant at their jobs! Ben and Lucy are both very confident and competent swimmers now. It has given me a huge peace of mind that they have learnt this vital life skill. I highly recommend Cape Swim, they are fantastic.
